Displaying Photos

When displaying two related photos together there are a lot of ways you can go about merging or layering them. In class I went through 3 different ways to display 2 photos together.

Insetting

Insetting is difficult when it comes to placement. In photoshop the detail image was set to be embossed and drop shadowed in order that the image may stand out. It also helps to chane the color of one, in this case, the detail. 

Diptic

This is the easier way of displaying photos, where two photos are given a proportion and then fit together. In this case the images were put to the saem color in order to make them match better.

Merger

This method is using heavy photoshop. The smaller detail is photoshopped into the larger photo to make it fit seamlessly.
